- Prewash with water before use
- Fold in towel or hang dry, do not dry with sun or dryer
- Keep latex damp while using to limit tears and friction
- Keep away from sun while storing
- Wash once a week to limit wear and tear
I got a size 10 pair.
Positives:
- Contact latex is 10/10. Extremely tacky.
- Rolled fingers make for a great feel for the ball.
- Strap is a single wrap, perfect length. You get a great wrap that feels tight and secure.
Areas to Improve:
- The only issue I had was with the fit. The stitching in between the fingers is too deep so it’s digging in between my fingers when my fingers aren’t all the way in yet. To force your hand in means you’ll be very uncomfortable after a few mins of it pulling down hard in those spots. I had to improvise and cut an X in between each of the fingers with scissors in order to allow my fingers to slide all the way in. Much more comfortable now. Not sure if a defect with just my pair but that was how both gloves were.
- More so opinion than critique but I’d like more backhand support for shot stopping.
- Rubber grip lines inside the glove for comfort would be a nice addition to improve the feel.
This is my first pair of Set GK gloves. Overall happy with the product and can’t wait for continued improvements in future designs.
